Unique Wall Art With A Musical Note Theme

When choosing decor for the home, many times you will have a desire to deck out a room with a particular theme – like dragonfly or butterflies wall art. If you enjoy music, or someone in the home does, you might wish to consider outfitting a room with an unique musical motif. A musical theme can also be a fun touch when decorating areas such as game rooms, media rooms, and home theater areas. A musical theme can also be an interesting way to decorate a teenager’s bedroom with the focus on a particular style of music or a particular artist. When decorating a room with a musical theme, pieces of decorative wall art such as musical notes wall decor can add an inspired touch.

Decorating a Media Room or Home Theater with Musical Art.

If you have plans of decking out a room in a musical motif, part of the task will involve looking for unique wall art items to add to the space. One popular type of musical art is a sculpture or wall hanging that depicts musical notes on a staff. This single theme can be utilized in a variety of ways and in a number of different rooms. For instance, in a home theater or media room, decorating with musical note art on the walls can be coordinated with framed album covers or sheet music, focusing on whatever style of music the family is most fond of. You can choose a piece of metal wall sculpture in the shape of the staff and the notes, or paint a staff on the wall, and then display metal notes on the wall over the staff; this makes it look as if you were writing a line of music upon the wall. You could carry this effect a little further by painting the staff on the wall and using metal wall art notes for the first few notes, and then by using sheet music of a favorite song, paint the rest of the notes of the first line of music directly on the wall using black paint. This type of decor can work just as well in a teenager’s bedroom, possibly decorating the room with posters or album art from their favorite musicians.

Decorating a Child’s Room with Musical Notes Wall Art.

For the small child’s bedroom or nursery, musical notes wall decor is a playful and fun selection. You can let wall sculptures to depict an overall nursery song theme within the room. One way of doing this is to paint the staff on the wall, and then by interspersing musical note wall decor with hand-painted or stenciled note designs, write out the lines of popular nursery rhyme songs. You might also locate vintage kid’s record albums, such as those on old 78 records, and then create wall art by framing either cover or record or both. Many old covers for 78 records were designed with very interesting art, and there are a lot of folks who collect these covers for their nostalgic graphics.
